Are you annoyed by the fact that the video is drm protected and will self destruct after 30 days?
Well there is a solution.
Merely download the following freeware and you will be able to download and keep your favourite BBC television programmes for posterity.
Merely go into the Iplayer downloader folder and double click on the the ipdl2 icon (with the pink arrow). When the application opens you then simply go to the web page for the iplayer programme you wish to download and copy the address bar ie. http://www.bbc. etc. etc. You then post this address into the 'programme id' and then click download. You will then be asked where to save the file.
Once you have downloaded the programme either watch it on your computer (it is saved as a .mov file) or convert to dvd with the excellent convertxtodvd to watch on your television.
