McKenzie and Jemaine Clement on their journey to international acclaim. The documentary follows Bret and Jemaine in the
United States before and after the release of their cult television show.



Both hilarious and illuminating, the story takes a look at life for the Conchords as they deal with new found fame and
the many pressures of producing their successful comedy show.



For the first time in New Zealand, we hear the folksters speak candidly about the road to fame and we meet the other
personalities, cast and crew that helped make their show a smash hit in both America and NZ.



Director Hannah Clarke has been in a unique position to gain access to the Conchords at their most relaxed – as
well as at their most frantic and exhausted. She has been present at key moments for the duo and allows us an
up-close-and personal glimpse into this experience.
