Read about the release of this book in the local newspaper. I was under the assumption
by that article that it would be more of a cookbook. It is mostly a informative book about the local cultures and the
history of them with just a few recipes in the back of the book. For what it is, it is wonderful. I was expecting it to
be more of a cookbook with authentic local Louisiana cuisine. It definitely has Authentic local cuisine, just not what I
was expecting.
