Description

A clean secure thoroughly tested AV/IT-expert's version
of Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. Built on
XP Professional x64 Edition retail SP2 English (United States,
NT 5.2.3790.3959) but including ALL Languages and Keyboards !
With *corporate* Volume License Key inline, so this release passes
"Windows Genuine Advantage" checks, and a product key is NOT needed
(see AMD64WINNT.SIF on the iso). Have your own legal key?
Please change it using TweakUI (which is included)*

Although this release is rather complete and sufficient for most users,
it is not 'made for gamers', nor is it intended for future MS Office installs
(there is no Outlook or MS Help in the core of this system). This XP-release is
intended for those who - like me - prefer a Classic minimal approach, those
who prefer OpenOffice, who do audio-/video-editing, who do much creative and
developing work, and/or who prefer to NOT share their PC with other users.
If you are the type that feels at home being the Administrator *all the time*
without ever getting infected by a virus, then this is your Windows OS !

If your CPU and motherboard support x64, then this might very well be the
FASTEST Desktop/Workstation OS you can find! It is UPDATED to general WoW64
standards of March 2nd 2009, with OFFICIAL Microsoft hotfixes and patches.**

removed and what is added to this automated unattended OS install CD.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Burn the .iso Image-file to CD (or DVD) at 6 X speed or slower, try ImgBurn.com

Power on your PC/laptop, press the button for the system to enter BIOS.
Change the boot sequence to CD first, then Save and Exit BIOS. Then
boot with the burned CD and (Quick)format the desired storage partition.
-> Don't use this CD to  Repair  or  Upgrade  existing copies of Windows!
-> You only need to boot from CD once, don't press a key at the next boot.
-> Don't take out your CD before installation is finished.

-> When installation is done change the Administrator password !
   It is set to "sxp64" which will be used to automatically login...

*  Disk storage footprint after installation is only 1.7 GB (minus pagefile),
but I recommend to use a partition of at least 18 GB to be prepared for
long-term use (installation of Photoshop, SoundForge, Vegas Pro etc.)

* Memory footprint right after installation is 163 MB RAM, with
only 20 processes running. This includes DirectX alive & kicking !

- This OS has too many registered tweaks to mention here. View

- Max Half-open Connections limit for TCP has been raised to 8192.

- Hibernate = disabled, but still usable.

- System is set to CET and Euro usage, but can be changed.
