Description
Mit ihrer ebenso gewalttätigen wie überflüssigen "Zeugenbefragung" haben Herc, Carver und Prez an den Hochhäusern Krawalle provoziert. Am nächsten Morgen fällt Lieutenant Daniels die undankbarer Aufgabe zu, sich vor dem stellvertretenden Polizeipräsidenten rechtfertigen zu müssen. Obwohl Prez einen Jugendlichen schwer verletzt hat, stellt sich Daniels schützend vor seine Untergebenen und liefert eine stark "angepasste" Version der Geschehnisse vom Vorabend ab. Inzwischen versuchen Mahone und Polk, ein aktuelles Foto von Avon Barksdale aufzutreiben – was sich als schwerer erweist, als es zunächst scheint. Für D’Angelo scheint sich derweil das Glück zu wenden: Weil seine Jungs beim Heroinverkauf einen besonders guten Schnitt gemacht haben, zahlt ihm Stringer Bell einen Bonus aus. Doch D’Angelos gute Laune verfliegt schnell wieder: Während er unterwegs ist, um für seine Crew Essen zu besorgen, wird ihr Drogenlager von dem abtrünnigen Dealer Omar und seiner Gang überfallen. Omar fällt der gesamte für die nächsten Tage vorgesehene Heroinnachschub in die Hände, und D’Angelo muss sich für den Verlust verantworten...
