Description
Volbeat är ett danskt hårdrocksband, som grundades 2001 av Michael Poulsen. Han har tidigare varit medlem i bandet Dominus, en som var en stor metalgrupp i Danmark, tills de splittrades strax innan Volbeat grundades. Volbeats musikstil är främst metal/hårdrock, men de har inslag av sextiotalets svängiga toner. Stilen har även jämförts som en metalversion av Elvismusik. De influeras mycket av gruppen Anthrax, som de även har spelat för på ett eftersläpp efter en konsert med dem.
